Biography
I took a very early interest in the arts and performance, which ultimately led to completing my Bachelor of Music at the prestigious Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University. I would go on to maintain a day job as a business operations manager for a Chicago startup, while finding gigs and performing whenever possible.
After a couple years, I decided to pursue medicine, requiring I satisfy several prerequisites. While completing those three years of self-directed premedical coursework in Rochester, MN, I began concurrently teaching, ultimately accruing nearly 2000 hours of voice teaching and coaching experience. I was also fortunate to gain the mentorship of a voice specialist from the Mayo Clinic, which made this a critical period for honing my understanding of effective, healthy voice use. Through the subsequent years, I have enjoyed opportunities to perform, teach, and even had a chance to do my first voiceover work with Osmosis, a medical education company.

As I near the completion of my formal medical training, I look forward to exploring more opportunities to create and learn. And although my medical and performance backgrounds may seem like distant interests, understanding music through a neurocognitive lens enriches my experiences and helps me to create a richer connection with audiences and collaborators.
